Shanti Strings are a high calibre contemporary Bollywood Electric Strings group with a twist of luxury. Whether performing as an electric strings duo, an energising music and dance trio or an acoustic quartet they provide fantastic musical entertainment and designer style to suit every occasion.

The fabulous Shanti Strings electric string duo play upbeat Bollywood and classical-pop crossover music which provides the perfect background accompaniment to a drinks reception. They can also provide a high energy choreographed Bollywood show, performing on sparkly futuristic-looking electric violin and cello with wonderful costumes.

An exciting and unique addition is to introduce the Bollywood dancer who can include a short fun Bollywood dance workshop to get the audience up and on their feet! For large luxury events this can be with 2 or 3 or more dancers to add even more of the “WOW-Factor”!

The elegant all-female string quartet can perform for up to three hours of Bollywood, classical and/or pop background music on traditional acoustic violins, viola and cello. The group is made up of some of the country’s leading strings musicians. Having studied at the UK’s most prestigious music conservatoires, many of the girls have won awards. The girls dress in beautiful sparkly dresses for every performance and provide background music with a unique Bollywood twist creating a sophisticated and cool ambience. The perfect accompaniment to a drinks reception, civil ceremony, or dinner. The acoustic string quartet performs background music which ideal for both Western and Asian weddings and receptions.

The group are all extremely experienced, classically trained professional musicians, having spent many years studying their instruments at the country’s leading music schools and conservatoires and winning many music awards. In the last couple of years we have individually performed in 25 countries at many high-end events, including Wimbledon Champions Dinners and at many private celebrity functions. They performed 8 times at the Olympic Park during the games and on the main stage at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant event as well as at a lunch for the Queen and the Prime Minister.
They have also individually performed for Royalty and with many famous celebrities such as: Take That, Salim-Sulaiman, Sir Elton John, Rihanna, Russel Watson and Ellie Goulding.

They have performed on The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, Britains Got Talent, The Royal Variety Show, Dancing on Ice and many more…
