Romany Diva of Magic

Romany is one of Britain’s favourite stage magicians and mistresses of ceremonies.
Romany began her stage career with the Cobble Comedy Company as a knife-throwing, fire-juggling street performer. She then flew off to study magic in Las Vegas with the best magicians in the world.
Many shows later, Romany became the first and only woman ever to be named Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year, was awarded the International Brotherhood of Magician’s British Shield for Most Entertaining Stage Act, and received the highest possible honour from the Magic Circle (i.e. the degree of ‘Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star for Performance’).
She was chosen to entertain Her Majesty the Queen and family for her 80th Birthday celebration and has entertained such luminaries as Dame Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Mick Jagger, Christopher Biggins, the Queen of Jordan and Thai royalty.
In 2011, Romany competed in Las Vegas against international magic champions in the World Magic Championships, watched by 1,000 top magicians. She was voted the winner by the thousand-strong audience and won the prestigious Golden Lion Award presented by Siegfried and Roy.
After being tied up by Jonathan Ross on Fool Us with Penn & Teller on ITV, Romany was invited to headline as a guest entertainer on luxury cruise-liners. She now spends a third of the year cruising and the rest of the year entertaining at theatres, private and corporate events in the UK.
