Biography

With a career spanning over 30 years, Mark has worked as a keyboard player for many artists including Jimmy Ruffin, Edwin Starr, The Drifters, Paul Young and many more. As a professional steel pan player, he has toured extensively around the world playing for just about any kind of engagement imaginable from private parties for the Sultan of Brunei to recording sessions for Gary Barlow. He plays regularly at the 606 club in London and will be representing them at the Budapest jazz festival in October.

Over the last 18 years, Mark has also had a parallel career as a professional composer having over 500 published pieces of music used extensively in TV and film. Some of these programmes include Friends, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Fresh Prince and countless others. His recording career has enabled him to work with some of the UK’s finest session musicians including Richard Bailey, Geoff Gascoyne, Mornington Lockett, John Etheridge and many more.
