Captain Redeye and the Hoods is a jumpin’, jivin’ and wailin’ nine-piece gangster swing band – playing an upbeat mix of jump-jazz from the 1940s and 50s alongside big-band classics and hits from the modern swing revival, all with a dash of Latin and Calypso thrown in for good measure.

The playlist features old favourites from artists such as Louis Prima, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Andy Williams with original tunes and pop and rock reinterpretations, and draws from the golden Hollywood era of cinema, as well as from more recent films such as “Swingers” and “The Mask”.
