Upbeat is a samba and body percussion group led by a former STOMP cast member. Upbeat deliver workshops to primary and secondary schools, music hubs, universities, and perform at corporate events and conferences.
Upbeat have been delivering music workshops to the education, corporate and community music sectors all over the world since 2001. The workshops include STOMP-style body percussion and Brazilian samba drumming.
Upbeat also offer team-building workshops for corporate events and keynote speeches for conferences.
As well as leading workshops for pupils and CPD sessions for music specialists, Upbeat promote the use of music as a means of encouraging wellbeing for both individuals and teaching communities.
Upbeat workshops are accessible to all, regardless of musical experience.
