The Winter Sprites
Add some winter magic to your event with our wonderland Winter Sprites. This delightfully charming wintry strolling/walkabout street theatre show consists of two puppeteer-performers operating a duo of Winter Sprite bunraku-style puppets. Certain to bring some magic to any Christmas or winter-themed occasion.
Biography
“A magical, life-affirming show which will be held in people’s hearts and memories for years to come”.
Sue Hurrell, Performance & Entertainment Manager, The Alnwick Garden
The puppeteers are visible, veiled, and are behind the puppets animating their movements, giving them a voice, and making them fly, flit and leap around the performance area.
The puppets are approx. 3ft tall and are costumed in glistening, icy colours that are illuminated with LED lights integrated into the costumes. This means The Winter Sprites are equally perfect for daytime and evening events. The show is a strolling visual spectacle involving spoken interactions with the audience and public, accompanied by a magical winter soundscape.
The Winter Sprites are perfect for: Christmas events, winter events, winter festivals, children’s events, shopping centre entertainment, retail events, arts and culture events, fairy-tale themed events, private functions

“Thank you for all the performances over the weekend. The Winter Sprites worked brilliantly in the centre, it was lovely to see the way both children and parents interacted with the Sprites. The children were just in awe of them! It all went brilliantly!”
