Soul Squad
Soul Squad is a 5 piece party band, specialising in the best contemporary pop music of the last 20 years. They are perfect for wedding receptions, business drinks or corporate dinners.
Biography
Gigging since 2016, Soul Squad have played in venues such as Ashton Gate, Middle Temple, The Eden Project, The Queens Hotel, Hotel Post in Switzerland, Zandvoort Beach in the Netherlands and many more venues throughout the UK and other countries.
Companies that Soul Squad have played for include Tenet, Wessex Water, Land Rover and Heist.
Lead singer Naomi can do it all. The soaring notes of Whitney and Aretha. The lyrical acrobatics of Lizzo, Sean Paul, Nelly and Destiny’s Child. The power of Tina Turner, Cher and Freddie Mercury. The list could go on! But don’t just take our word for it, ask Will.I.Am:
“She has that Mariah Carey type of whistle tone. A super rare talent”
Naomi was a finalist of “The Voice UK 2022” on team Will.I.Am and went on to duet with the star himself. They sang “Crazy In Love”, which is a staple of Soul Squad’s live set.
Marv (keys/guitar/Bvs), James (Guitar/Bvs), Rob (Bass) and Jake (Drums) form the instrumentalists behind Soul Squad’s sound. With their wealth of knowledge from all of the genres between them, the traditional pop band foundation is rock solid. Throw in their mix of their uses of sampling, electric drum pads, synth pedals and writing creative guitar parts that elevate songs like “Blinding Lights”, “Waiting All Night” and “Show Me Love” into a live setting, and you have yourself a band that can cater to all audiences and can tackle any songs you wish to hear with ease.
Soul Squad typically provides 2 x 60 min sets, with PA and lighting included. Extra performances of acoustic duo and trio sets and solo and duo instrumental sets are available.
Soul Squad are perfect for: Corporate event music entertainment, Corporate Dinner Band, Wedding reception Band, Party Band, Christmas Party Band, New Years Eve Band, private function entertainment!

“Soul Squad was beyond brilliant as the evening entertainment for our wedding. The dance floor was full the entire time and we had so many comments about how brilliant they were – they were great at communicating in the run-up to the event and were willing to tweak the set list so it was perfect for our friends and family! Would thoroughly recommend.”

“We had Soul Squad for our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic!!! Naomi was unfortunately ill on the day but instead, we had another lady (I cannot for the life of me remember her name) – she was also fantastic!! Their recommended set list had everyone up on the dance floor- it was never empty. I could not recommend them enough.”
Christina T, Wedding
“Oh my god, they are amazing. No one left the dance floor and we wanted more. No one wanted the party to end which was exactly what we wanted for our special day. Naomi the singer was insane and so lovely. I can’t recommend them enough.”
