Talented singer-songwriter Steven Wright is a natural entertainer. The frontman of fabulous function band Candy Apple Blue, Steven combines his passion for singing rock, pop, soul, Motown and classic hits with dynamic dancing to deliver charismatic and engaging performances that never fail to wow a crowd.

Steven Wright was born in London and started his career in the entertainment industry as a professional model and dancer when he was just a teenager.
Later, along with his brother Roger, Steven launched his career in the music industry as a singer and songwriter. They formed a duo band called FRESH and soon landed their first recording contract with Warner Bros and later, in 2010, signed a second recording contract with EMI Records.
Steven is currently the frontman of the successful function band Candy Apple Blue, performing various genres of music such as rock, pop, soul, Motown and classic hits. He is a natural entertainer, and a wholly charismatic, engaging and exciting band leader. He performs at various events such as corporate events, festivals, weddings, private parties and more.
Steven continues to also have much success internationally as a model. His work involves television commercials, photoshoots for magazines and catalogues, plus advertising campaigns all over the world.
Steven is also an incredibly talented dancer, with his style taking on many influences, including James Brown, Michael Jackson and Prince. He’s a very energetic and versatile performer, engaging the audience, merging his music and dance on stage while performing all the dance-floor fillers.
Steven has a huge passion for music and all elements of showmanship. As a genuine team-player too, clients never fail to be impressed by his professionalism and brilliantly delivered shows.

Modeling: Steven has enjoyed working with a whole array of branded companies including Zara, Topman, Primark, Adidas, Puma and Speedo. He has appeared in many large retail outlet fashion shows including Westfield and Manchester’s Arndale Centre. He has also been commissioned for in-house retail brands such as Debenhams, Selfridges, Marks & Spencer and Harvey Nichols.
Advertising Campaigns:
Steven has been the face of exciting launch projects as a model for companies including HSBC, Not On The High Street, Pizza Hut, Peroni, Nurofen and was involved in launch press events at the London 2012 Olympic Village.
Singer:
For 25 years now, Steven’s passion of singing and songwriting has seen success with signings to Warner Bros and EMI Records. He also released a single with the renowned production trio of Stock, Aitken and Waterman. As Candy Apple Blue, they have had the pleasure to perform at numerous blue-chip company events and celebrity weddings including Jessica Ennis-Hill and were the headline act for TV’s The Gladiators end-of-show party. They have also been the resident band at The Roadhouse in Covent Garden and Guanabana Bar in Kentish Town.
International achievements:
Steven has been fortunate to travel and appear in commercials for Smirnoff in South Africa, Tanqueray Gin in Lithuania, Porsche in Germany plus singing and hosting at the Mary Kay cosmetic show, also in Germany several times.
