Biography

An experienced performer, solo artist Richard shot to fame as lead vocalist in male vocal group Collabro, winners of 2014’s Britain’s Got Talent. What followed was a whirlwind of success, including a recording deal with Simon Cowell’s SYCO label, a number one album and performances around the world.

In 2016, Richard decided to focus on his first love – swing jazz music. He embarked on a solo career and with sell-out shows and amazing reviews Richard has not looked back, becoming a star jazz singer in his own right.

Passionate about his sound and performing, Richard’s latest work sees him reworking classics by musical giants such as Michael Jackson and Rihanna into his own style of swing.

Delighting audiences with the wonderful range, tone and emotion of his smooth voice, Richard is enchanting existing fans as well as winning over new ones through his solo career.

Alongside his musical career, Richard has enjoyed success within the entertainment business too, appearing in Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s blockbuster movie The World’s End as well as within professional stage productions including ‘Les Misérables’ as Jean Valjean in one of the country’s leading youth theatre companies.

Richard has also appeared on countless TV and radio shows and is a great communicator who can entertain, engage and charm audiences of all sizes. Having packed much into his career, including working with some of the biggest names in the industry, Richard makes the perfect addition to any event.
