Singer Chris
Chris is one of the UK’s top jazz and swing singers, as well as being a talented musician and actor. From starring as Buddy Holly in the 30th Anniversary Tour of ‘Buddy the Musical’ to performing in front of thousands of people across the UK and Europe, he never ceases to wow crowds in theatres, clubs and at private and corporate functions.
Biography
Chris has always loved performing on stage and his passion for music started from a young age when his grandmother used to play him Frank Sinatra songs.
Since starting to sing professionally as a teenager, he has performed for thousands of people at prestigious venues like the Liverpool Empire, Manchester Palace, Edinburgh Playhouse, Pizza Express Jazz Club (Soho), the Savoy Hotel, the Grand Hotel (Brighton), Blenheim Palace, the New Zealand Embassy (Haymarket) as well as on P&O Cruise Ships and Thomson hotels in Europe. He has also performed on television (ITV) and on the radio (BBC Radio 4).
Chris sings all of the greatest Rat Pack songs as well as many other great jazz standards. His repertoire extends from classic artists such as Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong all the way up to terrific modern crooners such as Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jr. He even playfully rearranges modern hits in a swing style, from artists including Sam Smith, The Killers, and Bon Jovi!
