Ghost Villages and Abandoned Settlements
The UK lost over 3,000 lost settlements in the last millennium, though most are little more than footnotes in history. This talk explores those that we can still visit or see, including drowned villages, those lost to the plague or those commandeered by the MOD.

My Life With the Alpine Time Travellers
In 2006, David spent time with a community called Damanhur in the Italian Alps. Damanhur, a 1000-strong community, have built the world’s largest underground temple (the Eighth Wonder of the World), claim to have taught plants how to sing, and have a ‘fully-functioning time machine’.
