Jonathan Ross
Jay is an expert award winning contact juggler who is able to mesmerise his audience with his amazing skills. His walkabout juggling is always popular for daytime and evening events whether indoors or outdoors. His crystal ball contact juggling is perfect for meet and greet and mix and mingling with guests, and also ideal for table hopping at any event. His Glow ball juggling lights up the room in evening or outdoor events. Jay is known for his humorous patter – he will set the scene with silent stylistic juggling or much laughter depending on the event. His circus show is a showstopper for adults and children alike and brings together all his entertainment expertise, juggling, mime and comedy combined.
A former international athlete, 1st Prize Winner – Rotterdam International Street Theatre Awards andTelevision Presenter for ‘Havakazoo’ for Channel 5 Jay has performed at corporate events and Family Shows in more than 25 countries since 1987. His career highlights include two private parties for Her Majesty the Queen, regular parties for Jonathan Ross, entertaining Madonna and performance tours of Botswana, Oman and Turkey funded by the British Council. His international entertainment experience is expansive, with performances in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Botswana, Bahrain, the Baltic, the Caribbean, Hong Kong, Lapland, New York, New Delhi, Oman, Singapore and numerous European countries.
Jay studied Advanced Mime at the Desmond Jones School of Mime & Physical Theatre in London. He has taught mime in the UK , and Internationally on behalf of the British Arts Council. He also played ‘Robot Dad’ opposite Harry Hill in the film ‘Professor Branestawm’, devised 78 mime sketches for childrens’ TV show ‘Havakazoo’ and has appeared in a number of commercials.
His living statues and mime acts bring expertise and humour to any event. Superb movement, stillness, visual comedy and (optional) music from a body belt sound system combine to make a mesmerising performance.
