Biography
With 20 years of experience, John is a seasoned professional from the events and corporate circuits. He has played at many of London’s top A-list venues such as Grosvenor House Hotel, Hilton Park Lane, Claridge’s, The Savoy, The Royal Albert Hall, Windsor Castle, Tower Bridge, Old Billingsgate, HAC, Chelsea Gardens, Kew Gardens and Room on the River, among others.
John also has extensive experience working internationally in destinations as diverse as South Africa, the USA, Spain, Greece and Ibiza.
His diverse range of bookings includes award shows, corporate and private parties, film premieres, charity fundraising events and society weddings. John’s ability to read an audience, adapt and play accordingly always creates a great, high-energy atmosphere.
John’s unrivalled knowledge of musical genres and styles makes him a favourite DJ/VJ with a wide range of different clients. His personal musical preferences are chart hits, Hed Kandi and classic dance, however, he will of course play whatever works best for his client’s event and the vision they want to create for their occasion.
John has also honed his skill as a VJ using creative cutting edge graphic images and patterns mixed with promotional music videos.
His library of over 2,000 artist videos from mainstream popular genres, chart, R&B and dance covers the last three decades, as well as brand new releases that have yet to come out to the public. Imagine a visual mix of Capital, Kiss, and Radio One classics. He creates a kaleidoscope of sound and vision for the senses that always goes down a treat. This system works particularly well for award shows or any event that has a screen presentation, although he can also adapt his VJing for smaller parties.
On a personal note, John is amiable and eager to please clients, a team player and a consummate professional on-site.
