Dervish Dance
Tara first saw a whirling dervish in Cairo in 2003, and it blew her mind, bringing her to tears. This moving experience inspired her to take up the dance art herself, and she has since been wowing crowds with her incredible skills, even earning a Guinness World Record for the most spins in one hour.
Biography
Tara has now been performing for over 10 years, nationally and internationally. Highlights include performing for the BBC 1 stage at Reading Festival, Channel 4 and BBC Arabic.
In 2012, Tara achieved the Guinness World Record for the most spins in 1 hour. She hopes to inspire people to take an interest in Arabic Art and culture with her incredible dance skills.
