IA Practitioners, Conference
Bennett Arron is a comedian and experienced MC as well as an award-winning writer, actor, BAFTA-shortlisted director and finalist of the European Disco Dancing Championship. He is an ideal choice as an awards host or after-dinner speaker for your event.
Bennett, sadly, was one of the first major victims of identity theft in the UK. Despite the trials and tribulations that ensued, however, this difficult experience ended up inspiring his future successes.
Bennett wrote a comedy show about his identity theft experience, which was critically acclaimed at the Edinburgh Festival. This then led to Bennett being asked to direct and present the Documentary How To Steal An Identity for Channel 4.
Bennett now tours the world, telling his disturbingly true yet funny account of what it’s really like to have your identity stolen, as well as revealing the consequences of making a documentary ‘in the public interest’.
Bennett has also written and starred in the critically acclaimed BBC Radio Show “Bennett Arron is Jewelsh” and two series of the BBC Radio Show “Bennett Arron Worries About…”. Both were nominated for a Celtic Media Award. He has also supported Ricky Gervais on tour.
Bennett has performed as a comedian, awards host and after-dinner speaker at hundreds of events around the world. Being an award-winning writer, Bennett is able to write bespoke material to suit any occasion.
Talented, funny, hard-working and original, Bennett guarantees a captivated audience thanks to his comedy and storytelling abilities.
Bennett Arron is perfect for: Award ceremonies, after-dinner speaking, corporate events host, comedy events, festivals

Testimonials
“It seems to me that the art of the compere is a dying art. Too many performers “turn their hands” to it as if it were a simple matter. However, in practice the need for sharp awareness of the potential for dead spots, to play off situations with a constant stream of ad libs and to control an audience without presenting “the set” is no mean feat and one that, as a booker, I can say is in short supply. However, in Bennett Arron we have not only a gifted comedian, but also a man who appreciates just what it takes to compere a trade awards show, such as the Fraud Awards, and have the audience loving every single minute. Outstanding!”
