Biography

Anna Sin and her pop-up band are a skiffle act who have been vagabonding around the UK for over two years, stalking Brighton’s local watering holes monthly with residencies around the city. They’ve played in churches, at beautiful weddings, club nights, festivals, corporate parties, diners and dives.

Anna Sin & Co play anything from the obvious, the unusual and the surprisingly modern. With a back catalogue booming full of ’50s – 60s rock ‘n’ roll hits and R&B classics along with old school hip hop, pop hits, original tracks and ’90s nostalgia, this band is guaranteed to bring the party, no matter what occasion. The Brighton based group serve up all kinds of songs straight off the grill, with a side of swing and a skiffle dressing.

The band also pride themselves on their shape-shifting ability. They’re able to scrub up for a wedding, scrub down for a club night and put their specs on for self-run workshops with elderly and youth groups where the band use music, handling objects and crafts as reminiscence therapy and education.
