Keara is a talented stand-up comedian, writer, presenter, events host and expert speaker. She has hosted many events, large and small, across a 20-year career in show business, including after-dinners, formal sports events, end-of-season balls, high-profile award ceremonies, exclusive private parties and more.

Keara is a stand-up comedian, writer, presenter, events host and expert speaker.
She has produced ten one-woman shows for The Edinburgh Festival Fringe with visits to The Brighton Fringe, The Glasgow Comedy Festival and onward touring, as well as performed her stand-up comedy all over the world.
Keara has performed comedy on BBC Radio on a variety of shows including, ‘Children In Need’, ‘Feeling Kind Of Funny’ and ‘Live at The Stand’, as well as numerous other radio and TV appearances on BBC, BBC2 and BBC Radio Scotland.
Recently, her show called Dark One – covering the Irish troubles from a personal perspective – made its debut in Edinburgh before touring to London, Central Europe and the USA. She spent two months in America (Dec 2017-Jan 2018) performing stand-up-comedy in a range of venues and hosting some private Burns Suppers.
Keara also hosted a larger event in a private venue in Los Angeles which included a wider variety of people from a range of professions including tradespeople, academics, food and drink experts, producers and entertainers.
Keara has participated in various ways at Burns Suppers over the years and across the Globe. She has hosted, emceed and given addresses, recitals and speeches and has led sing-a-longs from the traditional Scottish Song Book (Revised by Robert Burns himself).
