Biography

AJ is an Irish choreographer, host and fitness coach who has worked with a stellar lineup of corporate clients, including Sainsbury’s, Pineapple Dance Studios, Comic Relief, Adidas, Stylist, Shortlist, Pukka Teas, Tic Tacs, EE, Google, Equinox, Virgin, KX and the Royal College of Physicians.

As one of the UK’s most successful dance fitness instructors, AJ’s dance and fitness classes will get your guests moving and motivated for the most memorable of events.

AJ is a fitness coach and teacher with 20 years of professional teaching experience. He trains clients across Europe in groups and in one-to-one sessions. His strengths lie in coaching, training and working at multiple scales from individuals up to crowds of tens of thousands. He is known for bringing humour and an easygoing manner to all of his work and for bringing something extra to his classes.

AJ has many years of experience performing in the West End and internationally, as well as plenty of TV and film credits, such as Mrs Browns Boys D’Movie, Ella Enchanted, BBC’s Eastenders and The Tudors. He has also worked on and appeared in ads for Dior, Subway, Nintendo, Tic Tacs and fronted a campaign for Puma.

AJ created and curated a timetable of classes ranging from yoga, Pilates, dance, HIIT and boxing to Barre classes. He has also created a number of classes for some of the world’s most notable gym brands.

AJ’s dance and fitness classes and concepts (Barre based, mind-body fusion classes, HIIT and endurance classes) have been featured in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Time Out and the Mail on Sunday amongst many others.

AJ has presented, choreographed and creatively directed his own children’s TV show segment PopUp Popstar, creating music videos with children for Irish television. He also choreographs music videos and live danceathons for charity.

He has interviewed celebrities for Movies Ireland online film magazine and currently presents his own Youtube channel. He co-presented the Giants Gala fundraiser with David Schwimmer and presented the West End Musical Choir’s Summer and Winter showcases in 2016 and 2017.
