Biography

Jing has been performing incredible magic since he was 15 years old. Highly experienced in creating original illusions, Jing’s expertise has been called upon for film and magic teaching, as well as for an array of corporate and private events across the globe. Jing started his magic career when he was 15 when he joined a student magic society and soon after won a prize at the national student magic convention organised by the South Korea Ministry of Art and Culture.

From there, Jing honed his skills in the company of experienced magicians, learning professional techniques and showmanship. Soon, Jing was working alongside his teachers, imparting his skills to other upcoming magicians.

He also started to explore the art of creating magic by building his own illusions from scratch and subsequently handing on this expertise in illusion building and showmanship to magicians just starting out in the business.

After two years of military service, during which he demonstrated his skills to the top brass at military ceremonies, Jing resumed his career as a professional magician, builder of illusions and mentor to budding magicians.

He was also commissioned as a magic consultant for the movie The Magician (2015). He taught the lead actors magic skills, devised the routines, built the illusions, and acted as a ‘magic’ hand double for the lead in some of the more difficult manipulations.

Jing has worked extensively in the USA and UK, performing in cabaret, on cruise ships, and entertaining countless audiences for corporate and private events.
