The Swing Ninjas are truly the wild gentleman of swing. Playing and singing a mix of New Orleans swing and Parisian jazz from the 1930s and 1940s with a modern musical flair, this Brighton-based quartet is taking the world of swing to places it never dreamt possible.

Biography

Singing original tunes and classic standards, 100-year-old music is given a breath of fresh air by this band’s immense musical talent, energetic performances, immaculate dress and tongue-in-cheek charm as they guide you on a happy journey through vintage music. This is definitely not stagnant, boring swing as you may know it.

The band includes alto sax, helicon/tuba, guitar and double bass. Luscious 4-part vocal harmonies ensure any audience is blown away – and not just by the massive horns. Playing to celebrities and royalty alike, smiles spread through their audiences, one note at a time.

The Swing Ninjas are also available as a 6-piece band or a stripped-down walkabout trio.

The Swing Ninjas have released two albums, ‘Tears Of The Tuba’ (2011) and ‘Stop Killing The Jazz Man’ (2012) on Swing Ninja Records. Both albums have had several print-runs with physical sales in the thousands, as well as sales online via iTunes, Spotify etc.
