The beautiful River Goddess delivers a performance ritual in celebration of water, which includes local elements and invites local participation.

A fantastic act for environmental festivals and green-themed event entertainment, this unique giant puppet is particularly focused on highlighting issues relevant to the local rivers where the performance will take place.

More than just a walkabout puppet act, this performance engages people in conscious dialogue with nature and offers a chance to share a moment of reverent connection while receiving a blessing from the River Goddess.

The act enables people to feel a direct connection to the element of water. Depending on the event they can contact local water guardians, climate choirs and nature-friendly groups ahead of the performances, and invite them to support and engage in the celebratory ritual, as well as highlight any issues that people can get involved with locally.

 Public engagement is key to this act too, with the performance inviting people to bring water from their local rivers, springs and streams to be part of the ceremony, for example. Even when travelling to different locations, the team behind the River Goddess always aim to work with the waters of the land and the people where they happen to be performing their ceremony.

The River Goddess giant puppet is available as a walkabout or for a parade accompanied by her two assistants.

Standard performances are 3 x 30 mins walkabout with static ceremonial moments.
