BLAKE: three gorgeous young classical Brit Award-winning ‘crossover’ stars whose stunning vocal harmonies and charismatic presence on stage and screen have wowed legions of fans around the globe, sold over a million albums – and scored No. 1 hits in ten countries!

Whether they’re releasing albums, performing on tour or on TV, or gracing major charity or sporting events, BLAKE continue to build their reputation as one of today’s most eclectic and exciting classical ‘crossover’ groups.

Blake’s friendship and musical careers date back to their school days, but just six months after reuniting as adults via social networking site Facebook, the BLAKE boys were ready to launch their debut album in 2007. It was a phenomenal success, going straight to No. 1 in the UK Classical Album Chart and taking the pop charts by storm. With over 100,000 copies of the album selling in just three weeks, the group earned their first Gold Disc. Recognised by the music industry for their talent, the album received the prestigious Classical Brit Award for Album of the Year in 2008 – a huge honour for a group that was still less than a year old!

Blake have continued to capture the hearts of fans around the globe since their triumphant debut, releasing nine albums to date, several of which have enjoyed No. 1 status. They continue to evolve and thrive: their fourth album, ‘Start Over’ (2013), revealed a new contemporary and original harmony sound. They’ve also scored with individual tracks: for example, in 2010 their ‘Beautiful Earth’ was selected by the World Wildlife Fund as its Earth Hour Album, their 2013 single ‘So Happy’ was the group’s first play-listed track on BBC Radio 2, and their upbeat version of ‘Swing Low’ was chosen as the Official Album for the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

Australia, Japan, Scandinavia, the Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, the USA – and, of course, the UK: the BLAKE boys have been tireless when it comes to touring both nationally and internationally and bringing their very special magic to their global fan-base. Highlights include being invited to perform to a TV audience of 300 million at the 2012 International Shanghai Film Festival and performing at the world-famous Crocus City Hall in Moscow in 2011. They’ve also made appearances at the celebrated Henley Festival in the UK with frequent collaborator Dame Shirley Bassey and at the Holders Festival in Barbados.

TV has proved a fertile field for BLAKE and they’ve captivated audiences on top shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, The Graham Norton Show, BBC Breakfast, ITV Daybreak, The David Walliams Show, NBC America, The Today Show, Sir David Frost ‘Around the World’, Songs of Praise and The One Show. They’ve also performed at high-profile sporting events and venues around the world and have appeared regularly at Wembley Stadium for major national and international football matches. They’re also much in demand for private parties and corporate events.

BLAKE have collected a legion of celebrity fans, including Will Smith, Ewan McGregor and Kevin Spacey – they even helped Dame Shirley Bassey celebrate her 70th birthday in style! As well as performing in front of the Queen, during 2010 they were twice invited to perform at Buckingham Palace and in 2011 released the single ‘All of Me’ to celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. They’ve also staged a performance for Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco.

As well as devoting themselves to their fans and enjoying a worldwide touring schedule, Blake find time to perform and work as ambassadors for their many selected charities, which include Cancer Research, The War Widows Association, The World Wildlife Fund, Clic Sargent, The Prince’s Trust, Variety (The Children’s Charity), MIND, Starlight, The Royal British Legion, Help for Heroes and Walking With The Wounded. BLAKE’s committed support of the British forces has seen them perform twice for the Queen at the Albert Hall at the Festival of Remembrance. BLAKE have also released charity singles in support of the Sing To Beat Breast Cancer Choir and the Walking With The Wounded South Polar Challenge. In 2015 they released their ‘A Classic Christmas’ album to raise money for Variety (The Children’s Charity).

This is a landmark year for the BLAKE boys. It began with a great honour when they were asked to perform at the magnificent event in London to celebrate the 100th birthday of national treasure Dame Vera Lynn. But not only does 2017 mark the tenth anniversary of their first album: their celebrations will see the release – scheduled for the autumn – of their tenth album, which is going to be their biggest project yet, with BLAKE going back to their roots with a joyous selection of 14 much-loved classical tracks. The boys have also launched their landmark ‘10 Year Tour’, which includes performances in Taiwan, China and Northern Europe – not to mention throughout the UK, and they’ll be joined by a host of talented choirs local to the venues.
