“ A fantastic venue for comedy”
“… for anyone who hasn’t experienced the
Playhouse’s basement yet, get your skates on and enjoy.
Yes it’s small, but intimate rather than cramped, it has
possibly the best interior, if not in the universe, in Brighton
at least. Lights twinkle like stars from the darkened ceilings,
while tiny lighted windows beckon from a cut-out Victor Hugo-esque
cityscape - advent calendar style. Entirely magical, the menu,
much like the décor, is also pretty top notch. Focussing
around fresh innovative tapas-like dishes, it’s perfect
to pick at over a drink. All ingredients that ensure the night
will not disappoint…”
