selection For those already
in the know, the Joogleberry Sunday roast is already an
essential part of rounding off a good weekend.
At just £5.95, with extremely generous portions of
either chicken, beef, lamb or veggie sausage with all the
trimmings, there is nowhere else in the city which offers
such great value for money in a great central location.
Good cuts of meat, fresh vegetables, cauliflower cheese
and Yorkshire puddings with stuffing, along with lovely
rich gravy, are guaranteed to satisfy, and if the taste
buds yearn for more, a delicious selection of desserts,
including a very yummy home-made tiramisu await. The house
wine (£11.90) is excellent and there’s also
the unbelievably priced Henry Harlin champagne at £20
a bottle for everyone who wants to celebrate successfully
surviving Saturday night! Pick up a programme while you’re
there and go back later for some quality performance in
the Cabaret Bar. Regular Sunday evening performers include
the award-winning Liane Carroll, US diva Liola Wills and
acoustic blues act of the year, Martin Harley.
The atmosphere is relaxed, with friendly staff and great
service, and the experience as a whole is everything people
are learning to expect from a visit to Joogleberry –
truly special!
