Food Freak Recommends:
Starter –
Seafood Dim Sum Selection – £4.65
Seafood money bags, shau mai, and samosa served with plum
sauce - Delicately packed and deliciously crunchy parcels
presented on a bed of chives and garnished with a physalis
fruit.
Salad –
Warm duck and raspberry vinegar - £6.95
Thin slices of duck breast on a bed of mixed leaves served
with raspberry sauce – Generous helping of tender
duck pieces on a well-dressed bed of salad, garnished with
cucumber and cherry tomatoes. This enormous salad is a meal
in itself.
Main - Paella
- £9.95
Packed with green-lipped mussels, shrimps, fresh fish, chicken,
chorizo, two large fresh king prawns and a secret blend
of herbs and spices, this main is moist without being greasy
and seasoned to perfection.
Juice were in Madrid two weeks ago. Joogleberry's
paella genuinely stands shoulder to shoulder with the Spanish
original.
Wine
House Red - Culpeo –
Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot £11.50 bottle £2.90 glass
Far more flavoursome than the price tag suggests, this Merlot
is excellent value.
White: Trebbiano Venezie
- Pinot Grigio £13.50 bottle £3.30 glass
A crisp and refreshingly fruity white. Produced all over
northern Italy.
Herbal tea
- Red lychee ball - £1.95
Dropping the lychee ball into a cup of boiling
water, the leaves gradually open diffusing its flavours.
Similar in taste to jasmine tea, lychee ball tea makes for
an unusual post-meal treat. |
