Monday 14th July
The David Bowie Show. All of Brighton’s based loved acoustic artists performing Bowie songs in their own style.  Show coordinated by Piano Patrick.  8pm.  Show starts 9pm.  £6/£4 concessions.
Upstairs:  Gay Tango Workshop.  Tango lessons for all!  7pm.  £tbc. 

 

Wednesday 16th July
Pan Promotions presents World Music Wednesdays.  This week it’s a Spanish theme with flamenco band The Guiris.  8pm. £8/£6 concessions. 

 

Thursday 17th July Reckless Sons.  A true American rock band.  The Reckless Sons’ music is classic-influenced modern rock with a bluesy undercurrent.  The songs are anthemic and pack one hell of a punch!  Youthful angst is the prevailing theme + The Splendour.  8pm.  £free!   

 

Friday 18th July
Upstairs: 
Live Acoustic Lounge with special Nashville guest Suzahn Fiering.  Suzahn creates a refreshing twist to a vintage sound through her unique interpretation of jazz standards and originals, with well crafted songs and strong guitar playing.  7.30pm.  £free.

Saturday 19th July
Daytime Event:  Gay Tango Workshop
Evening Event:  OTB Soul Club.  Join the classic soul and Motown club with a live band & DJ until the early hours.  8pm.  £12.50. 
Followed by
Boom Boom Saloon.  Where anything goes….. Frank Sinatra, Artic Monkeys, you name it we play it…. Til late.  £free.
Upstairs:  Too Darn Hot with Rockin & Rhythm – 30’s/40’s swing band – party like it’s 1939!  8pm.  £5.   

 

Sunday 20th July
Summer Roast ‘n’ Jazz with a special guest musician each week.  This week - Luke Rattenbury on guitar.  Roasts served from 12.30pm until 3.30pm.  £10 including lunch.  *check out our new summer menu!*

Followed by:
An evening of Argentine Tango with tango singer Guillermo Rozenthuler (from Argentina!).  Listen to the music, dance or simply soak up the atmosphere.  8.30pm-1am.  £10.

Monday 21st July
Magic Show featuring The Great Lycra plus guests.  The Great Lycra’s act is a fast and furious routine in which playing cards disappear, scarves change colour and rabbits jump out of hats and he never stops entertaining with his humorous banter! 9pm.  £6.

Tuesday 22nd July
Downstairs:  Me And My Shadow.  A tribute to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.  All the songs as the greats did them, with a bit of humour added!  8pm.  Show starts at 9pm.  £5.

Thursday 31st July
Downstairs:  Bright ‘n’ Queer.  Two charity comedy fundraiser shows in one evening from Brighton Pride.  Get your dose of gay gags, lesbian laughs and queer comedy right here!  The programme will be the same for both shows – Robert White, Eric Page, Marie Vagan and
Claire Parker.  There will be a British sign language interpreter at 7.30pm show.  7.30pm and 10pm.  £6.  All profits to Brighton Pride.
