Joogleberry Playhouse has a café/restaurant located on the ground floor and live music venue located in the basement. Customers can pick up/drop off outside the building (1 metre from door). We do not have parking facilities, although on-street parking and public car parks are available nearby.

Advance booking is recommended for anyone with specific accessibility requirements to help us to ensure you receive the best possible experience.

Café / Restaurant
Access through the main entrance is 3 steps up from footpath level. The steps are deep and have handrails at both sides. There is a small foyer area with a single pull door leading to the café/restaurant. There are 2 normal height steps down to the eating area floor level. This floor is polished wood. Chairs and tables are standard height. Table service is provided.

Access through alternative entrance which opens from inside (please ask for assistance) is 1 deep step up from footpath level. A ramp can be provided by request. This leads directly to eating area floor level.

Toilets are situated on first floor (14 normal height steps) and basement floor (17 deep steps, stairlift available).

Cabaret Venue
Venue is accessed down 13 deep steps, a small landing through a pull door, then 4 further deep steps with a handrail on left going down both flights of stairs. A public stairlift is provided for each flight of stairs (please ask for assistance). Please note that it is not possible to move heavy electric wheelchairs down to the basement level. The floor on this level is laminate flooring. Toilets on this floor are through a pull door down a shallow sloped floor. Disabled toilet has push door with tiled floor. Grab rails and an emergency alarm are fitted.

Tables and chairs on this floor are all standard height and are arranged in a ‘cabaret’ style.

The stage is constructed of moveable wooden stage blocks 16 cm high. Dressing room is situated through a heavy push door behind stage with one step down from stage blocks, then a further step down to small dressing room with standard toilet facilities.
