The UK’s leading contemporary variety company produces exceptional, eccentric cabaret entertainment, from large-scale touring theatre productions to site-specific commissions.

Its main incarnation is a themed theatre cabaret night with its roots in circus, vaudeville and theatre which has been based at Komedia for nine years. Voodoo Vaudeville has also performed at a diverse number of events from festival circuit favourites Bestival, Glastonbury Lost Vagueness and Udderbelly to arts council funded tours to middle scale venues.

They have also had 2 successful seasons at Assembly Rooms Edinburgh Festival and the Paramount Comedy Festival. Voodoo has also provided visual spectacle, musical and comedy walkabout characters to animate art events, festivals, corporate events and spaces such as Sothebys,Torture Garden, Fabric, The V & A, Proud Galleries and the Chelsea Flower Show.

The concept of the show
Mixing the ethos of old style Berlin cabaret with English theatrical flair this extraordinary show is a defiantly deviant concoction of twisted cabaret, cruel comedy, rock n roll and contemporary dance. Hosted by a sardonic conferencier, the cast of dancers, musicians comic performers and ethereal puppets will entrance, entertain and enrapture an audience with their vaudevillian versatility. Ironic fan dances, subversive songs, tragic pop operas, sinister mime artists, darkly comic characters, uncomfortable questions from mutant puppets and inspired improvisation all underpinned by the music of your dreams makes for a show that has something for everybody. It’s the new vaudeville!

Cabaret can be provided for a one hour or two hours show, also have djs who can provide fabulous music for an after show dance party
