Tula and the Bakelites

The Bakelites are a totally entertaining 20’s jazz band. They are a 5 piece outfit comprising vocal/trumpet, double bass, piano, guitar/ukulele, drums.  Within their repertoire they include classic 20's 'hits' such as Ain't She Sweet, Dinah, Somebody Stole My Gal etc. Here’s some words from the 'cats' themselves:

"We’re a band we play jazz, cause, you know… we’re a jazz band - full of jazz biscuits, as Tula likes to call us.
But don’t get me wrong we aint no sophisticates. We’re more just plain… cats…
We just wanna get ya dancing like the proverbials on a hot tin roof, or maybe just with ants in ya pants.
Cause there ain't no time like the decadent decade that we find ourselves in to cut up a rug. Viva les Roaring Twenties!"
