T Tones

T TonesOff beat and On Key "The last few years have seen a massive revival in vintage music - a wistful harking back to a time of innocence..."The 50’s is a decade rich in music to revisit and America’s ‘street corner soul’ had more than it’s fair share of vocal groups with Doo-Wop being the main genre. A time before electric guitars
and amplification changed popular music forever and the emphasis of the music was, quite simply..........the voice.

They hail from the port town of Lowestoft on the East Coast – birthplace to Benjamin Britten and, indeed, can boast a relation to the famous composer (cousin twice removed – and boy do they boast!) They are now based near Norwich but spend time performing in and around London, Cambridge, Colchester, Norwich and elsewhere."AND TOGETHER…

…are the T Tones."

The TestostaTones bring close-harmony into the 21st century; gone are the straw boaters, stripy jackets and bow ties: what remains are songs delivered with harmony and style performed by this modern day barbershop quartet with (more than a little) charm and a dash of cheek.

They also provide a service of writing and arranging songs for special occasions and for jingles (an old-fashioned sing-a-gram service). Corporate bespoke jingles available to suit events, companies or industry.

From 2010, the T Tones have registered with Carbon Passport and have committed to offset all carbon created during gig travel. If you are thinking of booking them for your event - why not allow them to perform fully acapella. If they can leave their PA at home, this means they will be a FULLY CARBON NEUTRAL BAND for your event and you will have helped play a part in that!

Alternatively, they could bring their solar powered amplifier which is suitable for crowds of up to 100 people.
