Storm In A Teacup

<< back

“Storm in a Teacup” is a delightful interactive cupcake-making demonstration like no other. Sharon Elizabeth, cupcake maker and singer extraordinaire, encourages the participants to embrace the 1950s domestic goddess theme and sashay around in pretty aprons while learning the art of making cupcakes that not only have the WOW factor but are also easy to create!

“Storm in a Teacup” is a fun celebration of yesteryear and is not only a practical but also an entertaining experience. The demonstration includes tea, cupcakes and sing-along songs of the 1940s-50s led by Sharon Elizabeth with Paul Lewis at the piano.

A fun-filled 3 hours, suits groups of no more than 30. It has been performed at festivals, private bookings and hen parties. It makes an excellent team building event and the cakes can be themed to the event or location.... Men have been known to come too! Participants are to bring a teacup and saucer and an apron to be used during the demonstration.

“Storm in a Teacup” won an award and monetary prize for “Best Surprise and Delight Within an Event” at the Hamilton Summer Garden Arts Festival, New Zealand 09.

“Cakes infused with love and music would have to taste better... surely!” Sharon Elizabeth
