 Jon-Paul McCarthy is a well established caricature artist based in Brighton, East Sussex. Initially studying as a portrait painter and working as an assistant to the royal portrait Painter Alexander Talbot-Rice, he has worked on paintings of HRH the Queen, HRH Prince Philip and the Duke of Westminster.

Jon-Paul is a qualified Classically trained animator and Illustrator, he is also a successful children's author with the Eddie the Egg series of children's books.

All of these different skills come together for his main love of the art of caricature, Which he has done for many years working both live and commissioned pieces. He has traveled up and down the country and even abroad producing his live work. Countries he has worked in include Bahrain, Kuwait, USA, Italy, Sweden, Spain to name but a few.
