Carli as Trudi UnrulyCarli Jefferson has been tap dancing since the age of three and has played percussion with her feet, hands and body on a wide range of projects ranging from 20/30's style swing to New York/Prague fusion Hip Hop. Her time performing on the European Tour of STOMP from 2001-2004 fuelled her passion for musical collaboration with DJ's, beat-boxers and musicians, most recently teaming up with various Double Bass players and she also has an entertaining alter ego called Trudy Unruly who appears at Burlesque and cabaret clubs all over the country.

Carli Jefferson is an intriguing and versatile entertainer, choreographer and visual artist. She began to dance at the age of three, training in Tap dance, Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Butoh and Flamenco, Her skills extend into Percussion, Vocalism, Physical theatre, Clown, Installation, Costume and Film.

Carli refined her expertise at Brighton University graduating in 2000 with a BA Hons in Dance with Visual Practice before touring Europe and Asia with international percussion outfit STOMP.

Her journey took her to Prague CZ where she gained noterioty for her choreography and vivacious personality. Unlimited by genre her involvement spans from Swing to Hip Hop; performing with Project Wings, Ondrej Havelka and his Melody Makers, Dance 2XS, Beat-Burger Band, Lucia Bila, Jiri Korn and 4Tet.

With Television, Stage, Theatre, Cabaret and Film appearances worldwide Carli has flabbergasted audiences with her originality and passion; recently featuring in Julien Temples film for BBC Four of Ska Legend Madness' concert The LIberty of Norton Folgate'. 

Trudy Unruly, Carli's saucy alter ego, is an intervener, schemer and Essex-bred dreamer. She busts into scenes such as Burlesque, Caberet and Fetish with her satirical saucy smile and epic self crafted costumes to create new cleavages and break conventions. She broke onto the UK Burlesque scene debuting London Burlesque Festival 2010 with her uber-buxom comedy strip-tease followed by a speakeasy style flap and tap!
